ISCAN: the International Smart Card Associations Network ISCAN is an international alliance of independent Smart Card associations supporting the proliferation of Smart Card usage worldwide by promoting results of tasks and facilitating exchanges of views between participating national, continental and global member Associations.
By sharing member's own worldwide experiences, ISCAN will be a major forum to focus on strategic and technical issues and to form a global view of the Smart Card industry.

The NFC Forum was formed to advance the use of Near Field Communication technology by developing specifications, ensuring interoperability among devices and services, and educating the market about NFC technology. Formed in 2004, the Forum now has over 150 members. Manufacturers, applications developers, financial services institutions, and more all work together to promote the use of NFC technology in consumer electronics, mobile devices, and PCs.
