
EUROSMART is an international association located in Brussels representing the Smart Security Industry. It aims at promoting the Smart Security Technologies family, expanding standards and continuously improving the quality and security of applications. Members are largely involved in political and technical initiatives as well as R&D projects at the European and international levels.
Eurosmart is acknowledged as representing the Voice of the Smart Security Industry.

The International Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA) is a non-profit trade association of plastic card manufacturers and personalizers, supported by suppliers and other industry participants, which promotes the plastic card industry and provides an independent forum to speak for the industry. ISCAN: the International Smart Card Associations Network ISCAN is an international alliance of independent Smart Card associations supporting the proliferation of Smart Card usage worldwide by promoting results of tasks and facilitating exchanges of views between participating national, continental and global member Associations.
By sharing member's own worldwide experiences, ISCAN will be a major forum to focus on strategic and technical issues and to form a global view of the Smart Card industry.

The NFC Forum was formed to advance the use of Near Field Communication technology by developing specifications, ensuring interoperability among devices and services, and educating the market about NFC technology. Formed in 2004, the Forum now has over 150 members. Manufacturers, applications developers, financial services institutions, and more all work together to promote the use of NFC technology in consumer electronics, mobile devices, and PCs.

SIMalliance, is a non-profit industry association made up of the world's leading SIM card manufacturers responsible for nine in every ten SIM cards sold worldwide. Its role is to promote the SIM as a secure & flexible multi-application device for the deployment of pioneering mobile multimedia and communications services & educate the market about the technology; advance interoperability between SIM, Handset and OTA Platform through the creation of dedicated "Working Groups" in charge of concrete programmes (ie. Concept workshops, reference implementations etc.); consolidate and communicate annually an overview of market SIM shipments; and produce SIMposium, the annual & international conference where the mobile eco-system meets the SIM Industry

The Smart Card Alliance is a not-for-profit, multi-industry association working to stimulate the understanding, adoption, use and widespread application of smart card technology. The Smart Payment Association (SPA) is dedicated to promoting & and facilitating the use of smart cards for payment. A non-profit organization founded in 2004, the association now counts five members including the three founding members Giesecke & Devrient, Gemalto and Oberthur Technologies, and Morpho & Austria Card; who represent 86% of smart payment card sales globally.
The association's role is not limited to education and promotion. Through its Working Groups program, SPA participates actively in payment standardization organizations, negotiate framework agreements with payment associations and collect and publish market data on a yearly basis. SPA/Eurosmart is Spoke Person of the Vendors within the EPC CSG Workgroup and is a Technical Associate of EMVCo. |
