The development of both sensor technologies (RFID, GPS, NFC ...) and mobile ones (3G M2M ...) raises many opportunities for a new type of applications, which integrate «smart objects». |
Conference organised by:
 |
Chairman: Georges LIBERMAN, CEO - XIRING
Today, numerous e-id programs are either coming to fruition or on the horizon. However, when building these programs, a number of questions need to be answered. For example, what is the main objective (offering new services to citizens, modernizing government services or strengthening domestic security)? How should I go about planning the project (what infrastructure do I need)? What means do I have at my disposal in terms of financing and time? XIRING, a security solutions provider for electronic transactions, is inviting you to attend a series of half day conferences on the theme of e-id, focusing on the issues behind achieving greater security. When it comes to better security, infrastructure is key. Depending on the objectives of the project, infrastructure may include the organizational set up of authorities, networks and services as well as equipping citizens, administrations and police forces. The speakers will be international experts who will provide insight based on personal experience, giving tips for user satisfaction for the most advanced or project advice for those currently deploying programs.
